That makes two orphans. My dad died before I became an adult, and my mom passed in the recent past during my middle age, and some autist here asked if I was 80-something to lose both parents like that. I'm grateful and thankful for a good childhood and good parents, although I spent my first eight or so years in the money impaired demographic. We once lived in this neighborhood that was like NYC's Bowery, and some Black guy danced on our porch one night at like 3:00, and I still remember my WTF reaction when I was 5, and the high school boys had me box kids on our porch, which was all kinds of messed up, like some kind of cockfighting.

People might not get officially married but they cohabit and do have children, sometimes divorced, or single mother, single father etc. sometimes they are living together with children like a married couple, but are not married, often the case in my family. maybe because they are gypsies and low status that it is more common?

A cousin of my mum, cohabited with his wife since thirty years, has children with her and grandchildren, they do always lived together and didnt seperated, but only one or two years ago they officially got married at the age of 60
