Some of these people from Leuwaarden, especially the man on the bottom right, strong corded influence, man on left in middle row with a wide head and the women in general i.e larger eyes and more florid than the Germans.

The Dutch hostess look very stereotypically Dutch. That look only exists in the Netherlands.

Jan Pieterszoon Coen is a very controversial historical figure and the actor portrays him just like he is described in the literature. A sloganesque assertive calvinist with charisma, but harsh as nails. People like him are still very common today, same composure. Luckily without the genocide.

The sketch just shows how they recruited crew for their ships, tricking desperate people by putting them in debt.

I appreciate the heads up about Coen. However, Goudsmit definitely passes as English. That is something I have noticed, whilst a great swathe of the ethnic Dutch population don't pass outside of the Netherlands, when they do, thus lacking that distinctive 'Dutch' look, they lean more towards England than northern Germany in terms of passability.
