Indeed it's more like a humanity starter guide for dummies to know what's right and wrong, along with a bonus fairy tale as to why us monkeys are stranded on a solid rock hurdling through infinity. Unknowns are scary so feeble minds can't wait to have an explanation fed to them no matter how silly it turns out to be. I'll add impatience to laziness.

We are the inbred offspring of Adam and Eve. This is why older humans could be centuries old, but our gene flow deteriorated from brother-sister intercourse.

I meant the women that Adam and Eve's sons must have had sex with...if Adam and Eve were the first people, then some incest was happening...there's nothing about God creating another family nearby.

There was no Adam or Eve, the first named humans didn't have such "advanced" names, rather had some characteristic sounds that they'd response when they hear it. The name Adam comes from the word "Adamah", which means soil/earth, referring to the humans coming from soil in sense of Abrahamic religions and the name Eve comes from the word "Chav(y)ah", meaning "to live/to give life" referring to Eve's way of birth, how Adam gave life and formed her with his rib.
So both names are symbolic and these "first human" characters were made up to explain things and storify some certain experiences.
Them having incest children is an unfortunate logic error in the philosophy of Abrahamic religions indeed since the sense of decent family in these religions have a very different moral sentiment.

This is a good point - evolutionists need to tell us when all these apes will become human.
..and why some have not.. you know "trust the science"
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12
Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

Anyone who says "Abrahamic religion" and thinks they have two brain cells should be insta-banned.

That's not how evolution works, there is no predefined path towards higher intelligence, even less one akin to ours. It's a small niche some early hominids favored, branching out from other groups. All the other species survive just fine with modest levels of it. You see our type of intelligence as the be-all and end-all in the living realm, but it's only an anthropocentric view we tend to have.
Chimps however have been going through the early stages of the stone age for thousands of years. If we were to disappear, a subset of them might take over eventually after millions of years, or something else entirely. Or nothing similar to us at all until the system we live in dies.
Some species have not evolved for 500 million years, they are fine as they are, like some jelly fish and crabs. Bacterias are here for billions of years. Humans are a blink of an eye in the history of our world.
