The vast majority of Scandinavians have no more Asian admixture than any other Western Europeans do. Had you said Finns, it would have been a different matter, but they are not Scandinavians. There are of course Swedes who have ancestors that came into contact with Finns and Saamis, but I've never seen a Swede with more than 1-3% Siberian on GEDMatch. Norwegians are even more "accused" of looking Asian than Swedes are (with Erling Haaland) and ethnic Norwegians have less Finnish ancestry and Siberian admix compared to Swedes.

According to formal stats (which trump Gedmatch) there is no difference between Hungarians and Norwegians when it comes to East Eurasian affinity.

But according to TA every second Hungarian is a "Turanid" while Norwegians don't get such weird classifications, so I think that your complaint is unfair.

I didn't say Hungarians had more Asian admixture than Scandinavians. The poster I quoted claimed they had Gypsy admixture. Although the chart shows Norwegians have slightly more East Eurasian affinity than other Western Europeans, so I admit then that I was wrong in saying that they had no more than other Western Europeans. Well, if that makes Norwegians East Baltids, then I guess Estonians are Uralids and Finns Northern Tungids, lol.

I took a look at the Miss Hungary contestants. I am fondest of Erdélyi Eszter -- she says that she likes boxing!
