Why women prefer brunette guys?

One of the reasons among the Whites is purely evolutinary.
Dark hair is simply subconsciously associated with testosterone and masculinity.

T is literally darkening man's hair in puberty.
Even in the north many men have lighter hair - but dark body hair.

Hormonal fluctuations may influence womens preferences.
Teenage girls aren't adult women, and some adult women may display preferences for boyish features in men, but that's a different topic.

In my experience, where i live this is partially true, since brown and black girls don't seek for blond men only, but for white pale-skinned males as whole, no matter their hair/eyes color, while others have some more specific preference or prefer blacks over whites; brown guys (pardos) are always the most rejected.

Speaking for myself, as a former pale-skinned prettyboy, skin color and caucasoid features are very important for females here when it comes to choosing a partner.

That surprises me. Most women dig Latin American men here (not the dwarves from Central America). That's true for Black girls and White girls. That's true for all of the in between girls. At least, that's how it was when I was in college and high school. They were more of a novelty then, so that's probably the case with blond guys where you live. As for Latin American girls back in the day, many of them went gaga over blond guys. I looked somewhat Mediterranean, and I got kicked to the curb by some Latin American girls when a blond pretty boy arrived.

That happened when we were at a house, and a Latin American girl and I hit it off with each other. The blond guy arrived, and the needle went off the record (antique technology). He was an Appalachian martial arts expert, and I called him the kung fu briar. He turned out to be a good guy (born again Christian who gave private lessons), and we talked by ourselves in the kitchen while the girls stayed in the living room.

It's also worth noting how much of this is influenced by the popular culture. For example, my mom still hasn't gotten the memo that blonde haired women are not the beauty standard like we used to be. She acts almost offended at the idea that we aren't. But I do think that most men my age and younger would prefer some sort of brunette of Mediterranean/Latina/(something like that) descent since that is currently the beauty standard - look at any magazine cover, makeup ad, etc. and the whole Kardashian-style makeup trend.

I see a big difference in what older vs younger men like in Turkey. Older guys are obsessed with thin blonde pale bimbos. Probably because back in their younger times, they fantasized about women they saw in magazine covers and kept seeking out women with similar aesthethics. Younger Turkish guys prefer curvier, with no color preference as long as it fits and looks natural.

She doesn't need defense. She can be with whomever she wants, her choice. I'm just confused she's saying light eyes are a must but also considering the potential of an Asian bf.

I'm more into idea of Asian guy than half-Asian children.
I feel strangely non comfortable around non European children, I somehow don't like them so much.

So, maybe for me that would be bad idea.

I gotta be honest, I only really find white babies cute. I cannot find black babies cute for the life of me. Neither really Latin American or Asian, but they are significantly cuter than black ones. I obviously recognize them as little innocent beings deserving of protection in society, because I am capable of realizing that not finding them cute doesn't un-person them, but like... they are just not cute.

Little blue-eyed babies are so cute though.
