What a brave lady. I took ground school in college many years ago with the intent to get a private pilot license, but could not afford flight school--much $$$. Doubtful I could land a plane without intense assistance over the radio as shown here. The lady was lucky to have daylight and one engine still turning and didn't have a stall (wing stall). She appeared to be nearly zero fuel and moments away from attempting a deadstick landing which might not have been survivable.

I was so impressed. It's funny that thirty something percent of ppl with no experience think they could land a plane. I would panic and crash.

That's not very far from me. I had no idea that happened over the summer. I wonder if it was suicide. I can't believe he was 90 and flying!!
