Many of my french cousins looks the same and they are ethnic french, so...
Atlantid/atlanto-med and alpinoie IMO.

the forehead is more narrow and finely featured, it's not really an alpine forehead that i associate with France.

French is not one face, you know. Many of ethnic French look like him. Some of my northern french cousins are even more exotic. My father is even more exotic (pigmentation).
According my native ethnic french friend, he looks like a French, so...
